Depression? by David
I am not a professional, just my views here, but I see 3 types of depression:
1. Occasional...which is tiredness, situational, such as the loss of a loved one or a job etc..
2. Social depression...the way you were raised. Did you have caring, attentive parents or the opposite. Consider the degree of how you deal with your negative past. So goes the depression. If you decide to go with your positive traits you acquired from your parents and discard the negative you are truly a rare individual.
3. Chronic depression... this you usually have since birth, a lack of a chemical in your brain called seratonin something that most people take for granted. Seratonin is the thing that allows you to get out of bed in the morning and go about your tasks for the day. If your depression is chronic usually no amount of trying alone will help you(depending on severity). A doctor and medication is required.
