Aged by David

You reach a certain age and the months fly by, it was
just christmas and then it is quickly christmas again.

The baseball season starts and all of a sudden the
world series is here.

When it gets right down to it all that really matters
is your kids and grand kids, how you can positively affect
their lives by example, not preaching, and of course by
spoiling them.

The other day I picked up 2 pieces of
chocolate from my daughter's deskshelf and said,
"Joanie I'll buy these from you," and she said "you don't
have to buy them daddy",  so I cornered her and put 5 twentys
in her hand.  What a thrill to see her face light up!!!

She and her sister Nancy never know when I will pull
something like that!!  (haha..)  I am on disabilty so it
takes some real budgeting to accomplish these things
for my daughters but, oh what fun to see their faces!

Hi. You are a good daddy. I'd love to have seen her face. I've noticed that time seems to go by so much faster than it used to. It seems there's never enough time to get done everything that I need to do. I am so happy that Scott moved down here and I can see my grandaughter a lot. My family is the most important thing to me. My grandkids are like a gift from heaven. Did you say spoil! ha ha We do a lot of that.

The only trouble is I can't keep up with them anymore. ha Allison is 10 months old and crawling and into everything. But the total fascination on her face when she is looking or feeling something new is adorable. Ahhh, and when she laughs it give you such joy.

My other grandaughter is just an absolute delight to be around. We pick her up from school every day and I'm so lucky that I get to spend time with her every day.

I don't want them to grow up. ha ha
